We continue to fill 'Building 21' with approximately 135 stalls at our monthly Antique & Collectors Fairs. Welcoming the same old and some new faces each time and visitor flow is an all day affair - right up to the very end. Advertising has been stepped up considerably - see the full page ad in the latest Antiques Diary, Antique Trade Calendar plus the numerous local Yorkshire newspaper ads. You can rest assured the organisers will work vigorously in ensuring good attendance, and maintaining unbeatably low prices. Toy, Train & Doll FairsWith space for 150 stalls, and a "buzz" now that the Fair has been moved to Tuesday evenings, we are confident that we can build the Toy, Train & Doll Fair's into a prominent event on the calendar. Coddswallop Bottle Show A specialist Antique bottle, pot lid and Advertising Fair, in aid of the Coddswallop Trust. Craft Fair Weekend A two day event, with handmade crafts and associated raw material suppliers, with no bought in goods. Popular categories for these fairs include, hand made jewellery, pottery, and metalwork. Needlework, wools, yarns, and woodwork. Outdoor crafts, basket and willow crafts. Rattan cane seating, rushwork, beadwork and machine embroidery.
Popular suppliers are wools, yarns, hand made papers and cardwork supplies, beans and buttons.
We are widely advertising this event in a number of ways We have taken out 1/4 page adverts in the major specialist magazines, Workbox, Crafts Beautiful, Craftsman and Crafts magazine and will be advertising in all the local papers. Fliers will be distributed in a number of ways. As with our other events, this makes for a well publicised event and should make for a well attended fair. Collectors Evening Fair
We are looking for dealers selling Ephemera - Stamps, Postcards & Books. Mining Memorabilia. Coins and medals/militaria. Automobilia. Pens and writing equipment. Sporting memorabilia. Textiles. Treen. Smoking accessories. Sewing accessories.
Sturdy tables plus two chairs are provided by Newcomen Fairs. Wall stalls, no space behind for additional tables, central stalls can utilise space behind. Flat Unloading, refreshments served all day. No electric fires or kettles please. Stallholder confirmation & set up instructions sent the week before the events. Cancellations. No booking refunds, or credits, within 28 days of the fair date. Saturday unloading. For most Antique and Collectables events there is Saturday unloading, (by prior arrangement) Stock left at owners risk. There is also provsion for overnight camper vans Elsecar Heritage Centre is a dog free zone. |
